2012: Get That Abattoir Ready in the Rose Garden
by Jim Washburn
I know this has even less to do with housing and transportation than my other entries, but just in case you haven’t seen this vital piece of Americana in its unblurred, uncensored form, here is the TV interview Sarah Palin did in Alaska with a backdrop of turkeys being slaughtered and bled. She’s there talking to the camera, oblivious that there’s a guy behind her shoving an inverted turkey into a metal chute over a bloody trough, slitting its neck at the bottom of the chute, and holding its legs in place as the turkey goes through its death spasms. Then he puts the next turkey in a metal chute. What most people don’t realize is, THAT’S HOW THEY VOTE IN ALASKA.

I don’t see what’s so funny. Animals they slaughter to protect themselves from witches need to be recycled into thanksgiving dinners. Alaska’s doesn’t have a choice EXCEPT to be sustainable; it’ll be the only place left for heathens to go after the rapture.
