Cuba to Allow More Private Enterprise

"The Revolution can be generous because it is strong," Cuban president Raul Castro said in announcing that the centrally-run socialist society would allow more private enterprise, which he's hoping will hire some of the million or so people working redundant government jobs. His government has already alloowed the privatization of barbershops and of some farmlands.
