Molsons and Sombreros

by Donna Schoenkopf

My dear and darling friend Ann Calhoun has an amazing blog (calhounscannon.blogspot.com) in which she writes about the current anti-Latino sentiments in Arizona. Her piece is hilarious, sobering and really interesting. I recommend you give it a look. But don't forget to read the comments, especially Ron's.

I thought between the two of them, Ron and Ann, a hell of a demonstration could be held in Arizona...everyone would show up (hundreds of thousands of us) either wearing Maple Leaf hockey shirts, drinking Molson beer, and saying "Eh" a lot, OR wearing illegal-looking footwear and sombreros.

It's a party!!!! Who wants to set a date?
