Nice, Nice, Very Nice

by Donna Schoenkopf

I now live in the land of Nice. (No, not neece. Nice. Long i.)

Oklahoma is (mostly) a Christian state and it is a Christian thing, being nice. Jesus is Love. And that is all well and good.

HOWEVER, SOMETIMES one must say something or do something that is not nice, or else bad things will happen, and we don't want that now, do we?

It is a person's solemn duty to speak up when there is:

    A. Injustice

    B. Imminent danger

    C. A pithy comment needing to be made

    D. Not doing so would result in a drabber world

And if we DON'T speak up, well, I just don't know what to say to that.
