Well, That Explains It

by Rebecca Schoenkopf

The one thing that kept irking me about my latest column was how Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. could possibly get an A+ from the Better Business Bureau.

Luckily, Gawker explains:

“It turns out the Better Business Bureau is poorly named: The consumer ratings service gave an A+ to a gold seller awash in complaints and a mortgage broker targeted by two state attorneys general. Terrorists do only slightly worse.”

Good to know!
